Remembrance Day 2020 – Sunday 8th November
It is with regret that we announce that this year’s commemoration will not be a public event, in line with national rules regarding public gatherings and guidance issued by the Royal British Legion. Wreaths will be laid at 11am by the Radnage Royal British Legion, followed separately by the Radnage Parish Council and the WI, attendance to each limited to 6 or less representatives.
We would encourage our residents to mark the occasion with 2 minutes silence at 11am at the end of their driveway, or in private. You may leave personal tributes at the memorial either before 11am or after 11h30. Please note that, as no parade will be held, City Road will not be closed to traffic during the short commemorations.
The Royal British Legion website provides some suggested alternatives for commemoration activities.
