QUEENS PLATINUM JUBILEE JUNE 2nd to JUNE 5th 2022

Volunteer Organisers/helpers Wanted – Queens Platinum Jubilee Celebrations – 2nd to 5th June

From 2nd to the 5th June 2022, we will celebrate another unique milestone in our history, Her Majesty The Queen’s 70th year as our Monarch and Head of the Commonwealth – her Platinum Jubilee. It is a feat no previous monarch has achieved.

We, as Radnage Parish, are hoping to celebrate the above event this year with the lighting of the beacon and celebrations over this long weekend. If anyone would like to help/volunteer with these events, please contact the Parish Clerk on parish.clerk@radnage.net . Any offers to help would be greatly appreciated.

BUCKS BEST KEPT VILLAGE IS BACK!

Following a two year break due to Covid restrictions, we will once again be entering the Buckinghamshire Best Kept Village Competition this year so you have plenty of time to plan your plants, polish your signs and enjoy nurturing our wonderful village so that it looks its best. The judges will visit the village for judging between June 1st and July 14th. Good luck Radnage!

The Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Armed Forces Day 2019 event will be coming to Wycombe Air Park on Saturday 29 June 2019.

The aim for 2019 is to deliver another big family friendly fun day event for all with a particular emphasis on saying Thank You to the Armed Forces Family in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. Once again we will include a flying display in our event programme. Families can also enjoy live music, fairground rides and attractions, explore our  veterans, reservists and youth village and vintage military vehicles, visit a variety of craft stalls and grab something to eat from our onsite caters.

Our event welcomes not only the wider Armed Forces Family working and living in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, but also all residents in the area.

It is our chance to show our support for the armed forces community, from serving personnel, veterans, war widows, cadets and their families. It is also an opportunity to raise public awareness of the contribution made by our Armed Forces.

Entry to the event is free, but you must register for tickets.
