PLATINUM JUBILEE THANK YOU’s……

Radnage Parish Council would like to thank everyone involved in making the Platinum Jubilee event so successful for all. It was a fantastic village team effort and would not have happened without everyone below, and all of you attending too !

Thank you to all the Councillors of Radnage Parish Council for all the planning, funding, keeping the kids busy all day with the inflatables and all their efforts to deliver a great and memorable day.

Thank you for Emily and the school for organising and running the kids run a mile, the children loved it along with their gold medals 🏅!

Thank you for Mark and his team from the Radnage Primary school for delivering a fantastic barbecue!

Thank you to Sam and his team from the Radnage Primary school, for running the bar all day.

Thank you to Steve for the atmospheric and fabulous music we enjoyed all day in the sun ☀️!

Thank you for all the ladies that helped to find the brilliant face painter.

Thank you for the Radnage Poors’ Charity and Parish Council for funding the amazing Jubilee Fort, and officially opening it for use by all !

Thank you to the Radnage Raiders for the fabulous footie ⚽️ entertainment !

Thank you to Jane and the WI for their delicious cakes 🍰 and teas.

Thank you to Gabriel for the outdoor Zumba fun!

Thank you to Tony, Darren and Steve again for setting up the live Derby and running the sweepstake !

Thank you to Georgina for lending us the tug of war rope, and the fun that ensued !

Thank you to the Garden Sunday team for lending us the Welly Wanging kit !

Thank you to the Scouts for running the final entertainments of the day…. Welly Wanging, Splat the Rat and others, it was great to see you out in your uniforms !

Thank you to Pat for all the help with organising the photos on the memory boards, lending us some display boards and everyone who lent photos or albums. Also, Jez too for lending us his display boards. The old photos provoked memories and were fascinating. An album will be made of The Platinum Jubilee😁

Thank you to Simon Watts for lending us his huge marquee so we could continue our festivities come rain or shine… and Julie for lending us lots of bunting !

Thank you to Sue and Jane for ensuring the event was publicised in Contact Magazine and around the village ….

Thank you to everyone else that helped on the day to make the event run so smoothly, helping with set up and set down and all the other little things that go unnoticed.

And finally thank you to the residents of Radnage …. Thank you all for coming out on the day to support us… without you all being there it would not have been such a special and memorable day.
