RADNAGE PARISH COUNCIL NEWS
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE BEST KEPT VILLAGE COMPETITION 2017
Highly Commended! The judging has been completed and the results are in! We were not successful in winning the Morris Cup this time around but we have much to celebrate and received some very encouraging comments from the judges and scored a very good 84 points out of a possible 100 enabling us to achieve a Highly Commended Certificate of Merit – so very well done Radnage! Thank you to everyone for their contribution in helping to maintain our village and making it a wonderful place in which to live. Special mention was made of our Churchyard and it’s sensitive rural management, the well equipped and well utilised play area, our notable village Beacon, the village hall and the tidiness of the area, our village pub , bus shelters, allotment gardens, notice boards and war memorial.
The full Judges Comments can be viewed here.
We offer our congratulations to Cuddington who were the winners of this section and who also won the Sword of Excellence for best overall winner.
