Youth Corner

Recreation

The village has a large recreation area, recently re-equipped to provide facilities for young people of all ages.

homeDid you know that we have a very active Scout troop in Radnage? It caters for boys and girls, with a Beaver unit, for children from 5.75 years to 8 years old, a Cub unit for children from 8 years to 10.5 years old and a Scout unit, for children from 10.5 years to 14 years old.

1st Radnage Scout Group aims to provide a range of activities which include arts and crafts, fun and games, badge-work, kayaking and climbing, hiking and camping. One trip undertaken in 2002 was a visit to the Imperial War Museum and a night spent camping on HMS Belfast.

All activities offer children something slightly out of the ordinary, within a totally safe environment. The children are taught and encouraged to organise and participate in all the different activities, promoting team work.

To find out more about Scouting in Radnage, contact the Group Scout Leader on 01494 528103 or click on the Scout logo to go to their own web site.

Radnage Youth Group meets on a regular basis in the Village Hall.
