We have received an e-mail from an American lady in New York who is working on a hobby site pushing the preservation of the movie A MONTH IN THE COUNTRY. Apparently, good copies and the originals of the film have all but disappeared, and the hunt is on to find a suitable copy so that a DVD can be produced.

As most villagers know, the film was shot largely in Radnage and the site has some interesting information, not only about the film, but also on the Radnage filming.

The Radnage items can be found on the site under FILMING. At the time of writing, it was still under development, but it promises lots of photos of St. Mary's, in the film and in real life.
